The Protekt Aire 4600DXAB combines the dual therapies of low air loss and alternating pressure into one unit, making it the ideal choice for patients who require treatment for pressure ulcers. The newly designed digital pump features Auto Compressor Sleep Technology (ACST) that shuts off the compressor once the desired pressure level has been achieved, thereby extending the life of the pump. The digital adjustable weight setting allows caregivers to customize the amount of pressure according to each patient’s therapeutic requirements. For safe and easy patient transfers, the Protekt Aire 4600DXAB features a static function. Audio and visual low-pressure alarms alert users and caregivers if the airflow is compromised. .

Raised side perimeter air bolsters on the mattress minimize the chances of accidental patient roll-outs and reduce the risk of entrapment. A center cut-out in the air bolsters enables safe and easy ingress and egress from the mattress. In the event of a power failure, the lower 4” of cells will hold air thanks to the unique cell-on-cell design that incorporates a one-way valve. A static head section and pillow top feature prevent unnecessary head and neck movement, reducing the chances for discomfort or injury. 18 laser holes keep the user cool and dry.
