Strongback Transport Chair

The Strongback Ergonomic Transport Wheelchair is designed to provide everyday practicality and maximum comfort. The frame-integrated posture support system aligns with the natural curvature of the spine, resulting in greater comfort. This compact and foldable transport wheelchair weighs just over 20 pounds and can easily accommodate users weighing up to 300 pounds. The Strongback is available with 8-inch rear wheels, ideal for indoor use, or 12-inch rear wheels, which is great both indoors and outdoors. The 12-inch model is available with optional attendant brakes and has multiple seat and frame size options.

The Strongback Transport Wheelchair is available in several models with different configurations. The Strongback 8 has eight-inch rear wheels and an 18-inch wide seat. The Strongback 12 has twelve-inch rear wheels and is available in three seat sizes small (16-inch), medium (18-inch), and large (20-inch). Strongback 12 models with the medium seat can be purchased with or without attendant handbrakes, while the small and large come with handbrakes standard. The patented frame-integrated positive support system reduces spinal pressure allowing for longer use in a wider range of situations. The backrest can be adjusted to the ideal position and firmness for you. This is done by opening the Velcro fastener straps on the back of the seat and either loosening or tightening them. The Strongback transport chair helps you maintain proper posture reducing pain in the shoulders, neck, and lower back.
