GOLDEN confidently stands behind all our power lift recliners by providing industry leading warranties to our valued consumers. Please make sure you read your owner’s manual in it’s entirety to make sure all instructions provided have been followed before calling your retailer for service.

LIMITATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL WARRANTIES

Warranty claims should always be filed with the retailer you purchased the product from.

All warranty claims must be approved by Golden Technologies before any warranty service is performed. Warranties are not transferable and require proof of purchase for all claims.

All warranties apply only to the consumer who originally purchased this item from our network of authorized retailers.

Warranties do not apply for any non-residential use such as rental, business, commercial or public institutional use. Only defects in manufacturing and/or materials which appear under normal, residential use are covered under this warranty.

In the event a defect is found, GOLDEN will, at its option, repair and/or replace the defective parts and/or components provided that the warranty parts have not been subjected to misuse, abuse or improper service by the consumer, have not been damaged in transit or handling and/or have not been altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives. This warranty does not include costs for unnecessary service calls, i.e., in-home service calls solely for the purpose of educating the consumer about the product, or finding an unsatisfactory power connection, etc. Refunds are not available.

GOLDEN reserves the right to replace only the defective part(s) and to substitute materials of equal or better quality should the original materials be unavailable at the time of repair or replacement. Replacement fabrics may vary in color from the original due to dye lot differences.

GOLDEN will subsidize labor rates for the period stated under the labor coverage of these warranties. The consumer will be responsible for all labor fees outside this stated period.

The consumer shall be responsible for any in-home inspection fees including but not limited to mileage fees, transportation of the product to and from the authorized service center and any handling fees incurred during the repair.

No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from exceeding the weight capacity of the product or for any use which the product was not designed. Any item repaired or replaced under these Limited Warranties will be covered by the Limited Warranties for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: Lift Mechanism, Recline Mechanism and Wooden Chair Frame

GOLDEN, warrants the items listed above for the lifetime use of the power lift recliner by the original consumer for breakage due to defective material(s) or workmanship.

Labor to replace these parts will be subsidized on all models for three years from date of original purchase.

SEVEN YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY: Electrical Parts

• Hand Control(s) • Motor(s) • Transformer(s) • Control Box(es) • Heating Pad(s) • Massage Unit

GOLDEN, warrants the above listed parts of the power lift recliner against defects to the original consumer only, for a period of three years from the date of original purchase.

These parts will continue to be warranted for years four through seven from the date of original purchase by providing discounts off the suggested retail price of the part on the following pro-rated basis:

• Year 4 - 35% discount • Year 5 - 25% discount • Year 6 - 15% discount • Year 7 - 5% discount

By way of example, a part costing $100.00 that needs replacement in year 4 would cost $65.00.

Labor to replace defective parts will be subsidized for one year from date of original purchase.

To the extent permissible by applicable law, these warranties are your exclusive remedy and no other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, apply. In no event will GOLDEN be liable for incidental or consequential damages, even if it had reason to know in advance that such damages were possible. These warranties give you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of damages, so the above exclusion and limitations may not apply to you. In the event the warranty exclusions do not apply to you, then, where legally permissible, such warranties are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period and no warranties apply after that period.
